PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for calculating the arrangement-interval of antennas are provided to obtain the accuracy and the stability of direction-detection by optimizing the arrangement-interval of antennas. CONSTITUTION: A coordinate array unit arrays the phase difference of receiving frequency between a plurality of antennas on a three dimensional coordinate(S10). A reference point determining unit determines a point which is located at a minimum distance from the center point on the three dimensional coordinate as a reference point(S20). A direction reference point determining unit determines a first direction reference point and a second direction reference point on the three dimensional coordinate(S30). A segment displaying unit displays a segment which groups adjacent points from the first and the second direction reference points on the three dimensional coordinate(S40). A segment displaying verifying unit re-determines a reference point according to points on the three dimensional coordinate(S50). An antenna arrangement-interval determining unit determines the arrangement-interval of antennas based on the three dimensional coordinate(S60).
