<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a reactor core shroud for a nuclear power plant, a method which facilitates assembly of a groove part and which obtains a weld joint having an extremely small plastic deformation range and residual stress incidental to solidification shrinkage of a weld zone, when the reactor core shroud having a welding structure of a nuclear power plant is manufactured by laser welding, and to provide a nuclear power plant structure. <P>SOLUTION: In welding a butted part of a plurality of members constituting a reactor core shroud, the butted part is provided with a root face, and the length of the root face is set to 25-95% of the thickness of a thinner butted part in the plurality of members, and that a part other than the root face is provided with a narrow groove, and the welding is performed on the butted part by laser welding using a welding wire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
