PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten entire processing time in a processing system having distortion correction and image compression. SOLUTION: A correction processing part 3 successively performs the distortion correction in a prescribed processing order to image data, and successively writes the corrected image data to a poststage buffer 4. A compression processing part 5 successively reads the image data from the poststage buffer 4, and successively performs data compression to the read image data in parallel with the processing of the correction processing part 3 in a processing order sequentially corresponding to the processing order of the correction processing part 3. By managing the data needed to be held in the poststage buffer 4, an access control part 6 controls data writing by the correction processing part 3 and data reading by the compression processing part 5.
