<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless terminal and the like for following the fluctuation state of wireless quality and adaptively changing measurement intervals of the wireless quality without requiring a large amount of calculation in estimating future wireless quality. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless terminal has: a wireless quality measurement means for measuring wireless quality C[t] at a time (t) for each time interval Δt; an average value calculating means for calculating a mean value μ of the successively-inputted wireless quality C[t]; an inequality determination means for determining whether or not inequality in which the wireless quality C[t] at a current time of a day is included within a range between the mean value μ and a value range coefficient k-multiple of standard deviation α is established; and a measurement interval adaptation control means for controlling a time interval Δt relatively shorter with respect to the wireless quality measurement means.
