A method and a device for preventing flicker burst dimming of an inverter are provided to secure a stabilized driving effect without the flicker burst dimming by detecting a voltage having no flicker and modulating and outputting a pulse width. In a device for preventing flicker burst dimming of an inverter, a micom(24) converts an input analog signal to digital data, sequentially arranges the converted data, selects the data positioned on a center among the arranged data, and generates a pulse width modulated signal. An FET(Field Effect Transistor) driver(21) operates by receiving the signal generated from the micom(24). An FET receives a driving signal from the FET driver(21) and generates a converted AC voltage with performing on/off driving. A trans(22) boosts the AC voltage generated from the FET. A lamp(23) is turned on by receiving the boosted voltage from the trans(22).
