<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operational complexity in reception processing for obtaining an information signal from a reception signal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus is provided with: an acquisition section 302 for acquiring an equalization coefficient of (g) bits ((g) is a natural number) for equalizing a channel gain; a processing section 301 for receiving a reception signal of (y) bits ((y) is a natural number) obtained by adding a perturbation signal, that is constituted of an integer multiple of a constant τ, is added to the information signal, performing quantization so that quantization widths q<SB>y</SB>and q<SB>g</SB>of the reception signal and the equalization coefficient satisfy 2<SP>s</SP>q<SB>y</SB>q<SB>g</SB>=τ, to perform multiplication processing relating to low order (s) bits ((s) is a natural number of less than (g+y)) of the reception signal and the equalization coefficient; a determination section 303 for determining a modulation point from a result of the multiplication processing; and a demodulation section 304 for performing demodulation processing on the basis of the determined modulation point.
