<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel mounting structure which does not require installation of a gasket and a joint on both ends in the panel width direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The panel mounting structure closes a space formed by a coping 5, a horizontal muntin 6, and right and left wing panels 2, and a panel includes an outdoor side panel 30 and an indoor side panel 31. A locking vertical frame 7 is installed on the end of the wing panel. A locking projection (a screw S4) is formed on the vertical frame material of the outdoor side panel 30, and a locking hole 73 which can receive the locking projection in the depth direction to guide it downward is formed in the locking vertical frame 7. When the outdoor side panel 30 is mounted to the coping 5 and the horizontal muntin 6 in a dropping fashion, the locking projection is locked to the locking hole 73. The indoor side panel 31 is mounted in a state where movement in the indoor and outdoor directions is regulated. Right and left ends in the width direction of the outdoor side panel 30 and the indoor side panel 31 extend so as to conceal the locking vertical frame 7 from the indoor side and outdoor side.
