<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and low noise electric power steering device. <P>SOLUTION: Immediately after the inversion of a steering member in stationary steering, an idler gear 35 is driven and rotated by the rotation of a driven gear 34 resulting from reverse input from a rack shaft, and a load gear 63 is driven by the idler gear 35 and rotated (see a solid arrow mark). Then, the teeth of a driving gear 33 that starts rotation together with the start of an electric motor as shown in a dashed arrow mark, follows the teeth of the idler gear 35 and collides with the teeth of the idler gear 35. The idler gear 35, with which the driving gear 33 collides, applies part of collisional energy to the load gear 63, and disperses the collisional energy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
