PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold and fix a firm cardboard while closely attaching the same onto the outer peripheral face of a drum without raising the same. SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device 10 includes a printing drum 70 configured to be able to expand and contract a medium support face 122 formed from the outer peripheral faces of the front and rear support bodies corresponding the length of the recording medium 24 by a forward support 100 having a gripper 102 capable of holding the front end of a recording medium 24 and a rearward support 110 having an attracting unit 112 attractable the rear end of the same mashing each other in a fore and aft direction, ink hitting means 72C, 72M, 72Y, 72K for hitting ink droplets to the recording medium 24 rotated and conveyed by the printing drum 70, a sheet pressing roller 74 closely attaching the rear end of the recording medium 24 whose front end is held by the gripper 102 to the outer peripheral face of the printing drum 70.
