<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a head crash in a hard disk drive even though a power supply is interrupted during a data transfer to the hard disk drive. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a power supply voltage VH which is supplied to a mechanical component driving mechanism in a print engine 12 from a power supply circuit, becomes the threshold V1th or lower, this state is detected by a circuit 120 for detecting disconnection of power supply and the interruption occurs in a CPU constituting an HDD reset control unit 110, and in this interruption process, a reset command RCMD is supplied to the hard disk drive 13, thereby a magnetic head moves to a retraction position.
