PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the isolation characteristics of a branching filter using a capacitor which attains its miniaturization, cost reduction and high precision. SOLUTION: The branching filter includes: a transmitting filter 10 connected between a common terminal Ant and a transmitting terminal Tx; a receiving filter 20 connected between the common terminal Ant and the receiving terminal Rx; a capacitor 40 connected in parallel with a transmitting filter or a receiving filter between two terminals among the common terminal, transmitting terminal and receiving terminal; and a package including an insulating layer 51, foot pads 56 which are the common terminal, transmitting terminal and receiving terminal formed in the one surface of the insulating layer, and wiring 60 formed in the surface opposite to the one surface of the insulating layer. As for capacitors, there are provided two capacitor element formation portions 64 connected respectively in parallel and formed by at least one foot pad among foot pads and by two wiring overlapping two sides where at least one foot pad faces, respectively.
