PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual effect obtained from a view at a high location as well as a distinctive visual effect brought about by a plurality of sceneries viewed from there. SOLUTION: In this building, a garden 2 and an observation section 3 are installed on a rooftop of a building body 1 having a number of stories. The observation section 3 includes a first observation section 3A which is formed on the same story as the story with the garden 2, and a second observation section 3B which is formed in the air separated above the garden 2. The first observation section 3A is formed to be capable of securing a line L1a of sight for appreciating the garden 2 and a line L1b of sight for appreciating the scene outside the building body 1, while second observation section 3B is formed to be capable of securing a line L2a of sight for appreciating the garden 2, a line L2b of sight for appreciating the scene outside the building body 1, and a line L2c of sight for appreciating the scene outside the building body 1 as a borrowed landscape for the garden 2.
