The present invention relates to a windpower amplification and back-resistance elimination device for vertical wind-powered electricity generation. More specifically, a characterising feature of the invention is that, in a rotor blade which is rotatably provided on a vertical rotational shaft and which rotates freely in the wind, the wind is screened from falling incident on that side of the rotor blade which is rotating backward against the wind, such that only rotational force in the forward direction due to the force of the wind is applied to the vertical rotational shaft. The present invention has the advantageous effect that it can increase mechanical conversion efficiency by maximising the rotational force of the rotor blade in the forward direction because the wind is screened from falling incident on that side of the rotor blade which is rotating backward against the wind and hence resistance due to the backward rotation of the rotor blade is minimised and, in addition, having passed via an inclined wind-screening plate member, the wind falls incident in a concentrated fashion on that side of the rotor blade which is rotating in the forward direction with the wind. |
