<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sole that prevents plantar hyperextension of the foot without limiting movability of a shoe during use. <P>SOLUTION: The sole 100 for a shoe includes a unidirectional bending element 150 that enables a dorsal bending of the sole 100 and blocks a plantar bending. The width of the unidirectional bending element 150 is less than half of the width of the sole 100. It is preferable that the unidirectional bending element 150 is arranged in a forefoot area 110 of the sole 100, that the unidirectional bending element 150 is arranged along the center line of the sole 100, and that the width of the unidirectional bending element 150 fluctuates along the longitudinal axis of the sole 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
