PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle height adjusting device capable of preventing the lock of a pump. SOLUTION: The pump P for supplying and discharging an operating fluid into/from a jack chamber J includes a cylinder 10, a pump chamber L partitioned by a piston 11 slidably inserted into the cylinder 10 and communicating with the jack chamber J, and a drive means for driving the piston 11 relative to the cylinder 10 in the axial direction. The drive means includes a nut 13 arranged at the counter pump chamber side of the piston 11 for supporting the piston 11 at the counter pump chamber side, a cylindrical resin guide member 16 slide-contacting with the outer periphery of the nut 13 while being prevented from rotating relative to the cylinder 10 for preventing the rotation of the nut 13 relative to the cylinder 10 and allowing only the axial movement thereof, and a screw shaft 14 to be rotationally driven while being threaded at its front end into the nut 13 and connected at its base end to a drive source M, and having a slide contact portion 14d at the intermediate for slide-contacting with the end at the counter piston side of the guide member 16.
