<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving belt having improved wear resistance and durability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the annular driving belt, at least the inner peripheral face is wound around a pulley to transmit power. The driving belt comprises an elastic body layer in which a core wire 9 is embedded along the belt longitudinal direction and which includes an elastomer layer, and a coating film 10 comprising diamond-like carbon (DLC) is formed on at least the lateral face or the whole area of the belt inner peripheral face.
