Disclosed is an organosilicon compound containing a hydrolyzable group represented by formula: XCH2Si(OSiYmR2 3-m)nR1 3-n (1).  In formula (1), R1's each independently represent the same or different hydrolyzable groups having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R2's each independently represent the same or different substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon groups having 1 to 20 carbon atoms (provided that groups having an unsaturated aliphatic bond are excluded), X represents a halogen atom, Y represents a hydrogen atom or an alkenyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, m represents an integer of 1 to 3, and n represents 1 or 2.  With the use of the organosilicon compound, a hydrolyzable group can be efficiently introduced into any of a variety of compounds by a hydrosilylation reaction.
