Class 52(2) The back 17a, 24 of an aircraft seat is hinged at 100 to the seat chassis 13, 25 and is normally held in upright position by a latch 23 which, yields under strong impact on the rear of the back to allow it to fold forward. The head rest, which is padded on front and rear, may be mounted on a sub-frame carried by the frame of the seat back. The back upholstery squab may be laced to the frame.
