PURPOSE: A quick dryer for food waste is provided to prevent the production of bad smell by rapidly heating the bottom of a treating drum and making hot air evenly contact food waste. CONSTITUTION: A food category waste rapid drying machine comprises a treating drum(3), a stirrer(5), a gas circulator, and a heat pump. The treating drum contains an accommodation space to receive food waste. The stirrer stirs the food waste contained in the treating drum. The gas circulator supplies gas for drying into the treating drum and discharge wet gas from the treating drum. The heat pump comprises a heating unit(41) which heats the gas provided from the gas circulator to the treating drum, and a cooling unit(43) which cools the gas discharged from the treating drum.
