PURPOSE: Utilization device and method of a power generation type exercise device are provided, which makes a lamp turned on when the exercise device is used for the night time. CONSTITUTION: A utilization device of a power generation type exercise device comprises: a first main body member(10) offering a display space to a user using the power generation type exercise device; a second main body member(20) capable of providing protection function against sunlight or ratio; a connection part(40) providing the electrical energy which is generated in the power generation type exercise device; a battery charging the electrical energy; and a lamp in which the electrical energy is provided and which is turned on.
