PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a vehicle bumper beam is provided to reduce weight without increasing the thickness of a steel plate to reinforce rigidity by manufacturing a bumper beam with a carbon fiber reinforced resin layer. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a vehicle bumper beam comprises following steps. Multiple carbon fiber reinforced plastics are laminated on the front surface of a steel sheet(10), and are thermally fused and press-molded in the shape of a bumper through a press so that a bumper beam with a carbon fiber reinforced plastic layer(20) is manufactured. The press has a heating coil(HC) inside.
