PURPOSE: A method for navigating an ice zone by controlling propelling power of a ship is provided to reduce material costs because a shafting system and a reduction gear do not need to be additionally reinforced. CONSTITUTION: A method for navigating an ice zone by controlling propelling power of a ship is as follows. A propeller of a ship, a shafting system, and a reduction gear(10) measure an output of a propelling engine. When a ship is sailed on an ice zone, an output of the propelling engine is limited to the measured propelling engine. When an ice navigation mode is selected, power is controlled to be not increased using a digital control(70). |
