PURPOSE: A gate driving circuit and a display device having the gate driving circuit are provided to secure maximum shifting margin of a threshold voltage in a first maintenance unit by applying a boosting voltage to a controller of the first maintenance unit. CONSTITUTION: A gate driving circuit comprises a plurality of stages. The gate driving circuit outputs a plurality of gate signals. A pull-up unit(230) outputs the high voltage of a clock signal to the high voltage of m-th gate signal. A pull-down unit(260) pull-downs the high voltage of the m-th gate signal to a low voltage. A boost-up unit(295) applies a boosting voltage to a second node. A first maintenance unit(281) maintains the first node a low voltage. A second maintenance unit(282) maintains the m-th gate signal a low voltage.
