PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal and a display control method using the same are provided to control text and backgrounds according to a user's setup. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(151) includes electronic paper. Through the control of a controller(180), the color of text and a background to be displayed through the display unit is changed to improve clarity. A memory(160) stores the complementary color information of the text and background and the setup information of a user. The controller controls the color of the text and background to be displayed according to the information stored in the memory.
