PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent cosmetic composition for styling and forming hair.

SOLUTION: The present application relates to a cosmetic composition prepared by incorporating one or more solid branched sulfopolyesters and one or more polysaccharide thickeners including a glucose unit into a medium allowable as a cosmetic. The present invention also relates to the use of the composition especially for styling and forming hair.
