<p>The method involves providing a data packet by an operating console (20) for transmission over a data transmission link e.g. data bus such as ARINC 429data bus, to an associated data transmitting unit (22). The data packet is compared with a previously transmitted data packet that is available in copy in a memory (23). The data packet is transmitted over the data transmission link only when content of the data packet differs from content of the previously transmitted data packet. An independent claim is also included for a data transmission device comprising a data transmission link arrangement.</p> |
