The collimator (3) has multiple collimator disks (3a) positioned by a holder in a transverse distance (a) relative to each other. The holder includes spacer elements (4, 4a, 4b) e.g. long strips, between the disks. The spacer elements are arranged in transverse edge regions (e) of the disks and laterally connected with the transverse adjacent disks in a detachable manner by catch mechanism connections. A side of the collimator is connected with a detector. The side faces away from an x-ray source (2). An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a collimator for collimation and/or scattered rays reduction of X-rays for computed tomography application.
