摘要 PURPOSE: An opposed flow high pressure-low pressure steam turbine is provided to reduce the size of a thrust bearing by maintaining balance between the thrust of a high pressure steam turbine and the thrust of a lower pressure steam turbine. CONSTITUTION: An opposed flow high pressure-low pressure steam turbine comprises a high pressure steam turbine(110), a low pressure steam turbine(120), a rotor shaft(130), a first steam flow path(150) of a first direction, and a second steam flow path(155) of opposite direction. The rotor shaft passes through the high pressure steam turbine and the low pressure steam turbine. The first steam flow path of the first direction passes through the high pressure steam turbine. The second steam flow path of the opposite direction passes through the low pressure steam turbine. A unit(180) for conducting the first steam flow path to the second steam flow path of the opposite direction passing through the low pressure steam turbine from the high pressure steam turbine is additionally provided.
