<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aneurysm blocker which facilitates easy and secure blocking of an aneurysm depending on the pathological site, the cervical figure, and the size of an aneurysm. <P>SOLUTION: The aneurysm blocker includes at least: a balloon spherical lid 1 which is expanded to change into an anchored bag after inserted into an aneurysm of a blood vessel; and a balloon flat cover 2 which is disposed within the opening 11 of the balloon spherical lid to cover the mouth of the aneurysm, wherein the balloon flat cover has a hole 12 to connect inside of the balloon spherical lid, and the opening of the balloon spherical lid is larger in diameter than the hole of the balloon flat cover. The aneurysm blocker as designed above is held in the inner canal of a protective cylinder which is a flexible elongated body having the inner canal, and then discharged after the distal end of the cylinder arrives at a desirable position. The aneurysm blocker discharged from the distal end of the cylinder disposes the balloon spherical lid at the desirable position and develops for the balloon flat cover to cover the position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
