摘要 <p>A device for assisting excavation performed using a construction machine, the device comprising: a projector (2) which is provided near a portion to be excavated and emits laser light along a reference plane (S); a light receiver (11) which has light receiving sections arranged in the longitudinal direction thereof and receiving laser light and which is mounted to an arm (4); a tilt sensor (12) which detects the tilt angle of the arm (4); and a control section for enabling rectilinear excavation with the height of the edge of a bucket (3) maintained constant, the rectilinear excavation being performed in such a manner that the control section calculates, independent of the tilt angle of the arm (4), an actual excavation depth (H1) from the reference plane (S) to the tip of the bucket (3) on the basis of detection signals from the light receiver (11) and the tilt sensor (12) and then compares the calculated excavation depth with a previously set specified excavation depth (H3) to obtain an excavation error (H2).  The excavation assisting device allows rectilinear excavation by the construction machine to be performed simply, easily, and accurately.</p>
