<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain aqueous ink stored in an ink storage part from being dried, and to satisfactorily carry out printing work, in a printer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This printer is constituted face-by-face in series of an ink jar 35, an ink foundation roller 36, a transfer roller 37, a kneading roller 38, a reciprocation roller 39, an ink deposition roller 40, a plate cylinder 32, and a blanket cylinder 31, and includes a moisturizing material B for coating a surface of the aqueous ink A stored in the ink jar 35, as an ink-drying restraining means for restraining moisture from being evaporated out of the aqueous ink A stored in the ink jar 35.
