<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of an output overload voltage, and to safely stop a power supply device when a fault, etc., occurs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A power circuit with an overvoltage protection function includes: a voltage detecting means (zener diode ZD1) which detects an output voltage equal to or higher than a set voltage; and a control means which suspends voltage output when the voltage detecting means detects the output voltage equal to or higher than the set voltage. The power circuit further includes a second voltage detecting means (zener diode ZD2) which detects an output voltage higher than a detected voltage detected by the voltage detecting means. When the power circuit is in a state of an output voltage higher than a detected voltage detected by the voltage detecting means, the second voltage detecting means provides pseudo feedback using a terminal different from a protective function terminal of the control means to clamp the output voltage by the voltage detected by the second voltage detecting means to stop the voltage output.
