<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame body which is a bezel to be attached to a peripheral edge of a liquid crystal panel and has such a structure as to be efficiently and correctly attached to a prescribed position of the liquid crystal panel regardless of the existence of an electronic component mounted on a side surface of the liquid crystal panel, and a liquid crystal display device provided with the frame body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display device 100, a frame body 20 includes: front frame portions 22 to be disposed in front surface peripheral edge parts 10a of a rectangular liquid crystal panel 10 in respective sides of the liquid crystal panel 10; and side frame portions 24 which are connected to the front frame portions 22 and are to be disposed on side surfaces of the liquid crystal panel 10 in respective sides of the liquid crystal panel. With respect to at least one side surface 10b of the liquid crystal panel 10b, the side frame portion 25 disposed on the side surface 10b is connected to the adjacent front frame portion 22 so as to be partially or entirely turnable.
