摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low water-permeability crushed stone material of natural clay mineral, which has a uniform quality and is inexpensive and with which water can be shut off permanently, and to provide a method for measuring the density of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The low water-permeability crushed stone material of natural clay mineral is characterized in that, in crushed stones formed from a natural clay material containing smectite and having grain diameters of≤25 mm, the lower limit value of the natural moisture content ratio is adjusted within -10% when the optimum moisture ratio is set to the upper limit value, or the coefficient of water permeability, subjected to moisture content ratio adjustment, is adjusted to be≤1×10<SP>-8</SP>cm/sec. Further, the density of the crushed stones formed from the natural clay material including smectite and having grain diameters of≤25 mm is measured with a handy typed bearing capacity tester(CASPOL). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
