The device has a lock unlockable by an unlocking device (18) i.e. lock cylinder, with a power transmission element i.e. Bowden cable (20). The power transmission element is shifted by an inner metallic sheet (14) of a component (10) behind an outer metallic sheet (12), where the power transmission element is protected against unauthorized actuation by a break-down tool. A region of the power transmission element from the inner metallic sheet to the unlocking device is protected by a tubular cover made of a hard plastic component. The unlocking device is covered by a plastic cap (24).
