PURPOSE: A boiler using both solid fuel and electricity is provided to reduce fuel costs by operating with the solid fuel or the electricity. CONSTITUTION: A boiler using both solid fuel and electricity comprises a burning member(20), a water storage member(30), a flame delivering unit(70), a water heater element(80), and a temperature sensor. The burning member has a body for combustion, an air receiving chamber(50), and a plurality of air inlets. The air inlet is connected with the air receiving chamber. The water storage member is formed in the outer circumference and the upper side of the body for the combustion and stores water. The flame transfer method penetrates combustion heat of the combustion chamber in a water storeroom to the top and bottom. The flame delivering unit enhances the heating efficiency of the water by the combustion heat. The water heater element heats the water by the electrical operation irrespective with the combustion heat of a solid fuel. The temperature sensor senses the temperature of the water heated with the water heater element. |
