PURPOSE: An apparatus for monitoring the real time service in real-time is provided to steadily supply services by improving a service path after monitoring the real time service in real-time. CONSTITUTION: A packet receiving and classifying unit(410) performs the production of a first timestamp and the classification of a packet. A packet processing and switching unit(420) processes the packet. The packet processing and switching unit switches the packet to a destination address. A packet classifying and transmitting unit(430) classifies the packet. The packet classifying and transmitting unit generates a second time stamp about the packet. A real-time monitoring unit(440) monitors a real-time service with the usage of the first and the second time stamp.
