PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiply-bent type quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometer in which resolution can be improved, while taking the advantage of a feature that a quadrupole type is reduced in size, and the data acquisition time for a single measurement can be shortened to several milliseconds or less, regarding the multiply-bent type quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometer. SOLUTION: The mass spectrometer has a structure where a quadrupole of a set of 4 electrodes bent into an arc form, and a quadrupole of a set of 4 linear electrodes have electrode members contacting, in such a manner that the optical axes of ion optics substantially coincides at a connecting part, and the constitution of has an external form of the quadrupole in an integrated or a connected state; and the quadrupole part is functioned as an ion guide and is constituted, capable of measuring the flight times of the flying ions.
