SLIM MULTIFUNCTIONAL PLATE FOR LCD TV, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF AND BACK LIGHT UNIT EQUIPPED WITH THEM

PURPOSE: A slim type complex plate for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) TV, a manufacturing method thereof, and a backlight unit including the same are provided to reduce the thickness by shortening an optical distance between a lamp and a diffusion plate. CONSTITUTION: A pattern diffusion transparent base(10) has a lenticular lens shape(20) on a transparent base. A polarization layer(40) is formed on the lower part of the pattern diffusing plate with a birefringence sea-island fiber(30). A slim type complex plate(1) for an LCD TV is arranged with the polarization layer at the lower part of the pattern diffusing plate. The unpolarized light emitted from the light source reaches the polarization layer first.
