PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that can save non-economical power consumption under operation disabling condition, a power supply control method, a power supply control program, and a recording medium storing the recorded program.

SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus 100 includes an execution determining unit 22 for determining whether power supply control should be executed or not in accordance with a fault generated in the same image processing apparatus 100 and a power supply control executing unit 23 for turning off the power supply apparatus based on the determination result by the execution determining unit 22.
