<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmagnetic monocomponent developing method and device that improves followability of a nonmagnetic monocomponent developer (toner) by a simple method to thereby achieve superior carrying capacity using a developing roller. <P>SOLUTION: A special area 49 is particularly concentrated by the toner 47, where a section formed by a horizontal plane, which includes a position where a doctor blade 45 comes into contact with the developing roller 13, and a press-sliding part of the developing roller 13 and developer supply roller 44 makes a substantially triangle sectional plane. In the special area, balls 48 consisting of, e.g. alumina or zirconia or the like are filled and stayed, wherein a diameter ϕ is "0.5 mm≤ϕ<2.0 mm" and a specific gravity R is "3.8 g/cm^3≤R≤6.0 cm^3". The balls 48 are transmitted with torque in an opposite direction at the press sliding part of both the developing roller 13 and the developer supply roller 44, and mutually randomly collided and rotated, thereby smashing and dissolving small voids formed in the toner to enhance the flowability and followability of the toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
