PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connector capable of achieving a function of making connection between a male connector and a female connector and a function of shorting the circuits at a single connection point. SOLUTION: The joint connector 1 includes a male connector housing 14, a female connector housing 16, and an intermediate connector housing 17. The male connector housing 14 holds a plurality of male terminals 15. The female connector housing 16 holds a plurality of first female terminals 21 for engagement with the male connector housing 14. The intermediate connector housing 17 holds a plurality of second female terminals 22, and is arranged between the male connector housing 14 and the female connector housing 16. When the male connector housing 14 is engaged with the female connector housing 16, the first female terminal 21 and the second female terminal are electrically connected to the male terminal 15.
