<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a conduction noise to an AC power supply input system side and a load side, even in a case of supplying power to a load in the state that the rectifying unit stops power converting operation to a DC power. <P>SOLUTION: In the power conversion apparatus, of two switching elements constituting a switching arm series connection part SA1 as the rectifying unit 11, the switching element Sx on a low voltage side is maintained in a conductive state while the switching element Su on a high voltage side in a shutoff state, in power failure operation. Thereby, a resonance route, which is formed resulting from the state that the switching elements Sx, Su are maintained in the shutoff state, is not formed to control the generation of the conduction noise caused by the resonance route, with a corresponding reduction in the conduction noise in the power failure operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
