<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the development of effective printing setting which is not hoped for by a printing job sender with image formation executed by making the printing setting managed by an image forming device effective since the printing setting is unreceivable depending on a communication protocol with which the printing job is received. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device determines which of communication protocols the printing job is received through, and also determines whether the printing setting managed by the image forming device has been changed from its initial setting or not.
