PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device that easily achieves in a saved space a configuration for easily rotating a handle steplessly and easily fixing the rotating angle of the handle in a required rotating position. SOLUTION: The endoscope device includes: a rotation shaft 17 for the handle; a V-shaped cross-sectional groove formed in the circumferential surface of the rotation shaft 17; a bearing member 40 holding the rotation shaft 17 so that it may be freely rotated, the bearing member 40 being such that a mountain-shaped cross-sectional projection formed on the internal peripheral surface tightly fits in the groove, thereby engaging with the circumferential surface of the rotation shaft 17; a fixing member 20 having a rotary shaft fit-in groove 20m, in which the rotation shaft 17 engaging with the bearing member 40 fits; a pin 18 provided on the bearing member 40 and preventing rotation of the bearing member 40, resulting from the rotation of the rotation shaft 17; and a plate spring 30 that presses the bearing member 40 against the rotation shaft 17 and applies load on the rotating rotation shaft by virtue of frictional force produced by the contact between the inclining surface of the groove and the inclining surface of the projection of the bearing member.
