The counter (1) has elongated loop segments (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) provided in a sensor at a predetermined angle in a reference direction. The loop segment is provided with an electrical potential acted on contacts (6a, 6b), which serially or parallelly expand to utilize an electrical resistance unit. The contacts are provided in a curve region of other contacts (7a, 7b) with sliding arrangement, and the electrical resistance unit provides a direct measurement for a magnetic domain corresponding to the loop segments and a definite condition of a revolution of a rotating element.
