<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a hybrid drive device. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for operating the hybrid drive device having an internal combustion engine, having an electric machine capable of being drive-connected to the internal combustion engine, and having a heatable catalyst converter through which exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine flows, the internal combustion engine is driven by the electric machine such that a heat medium flow is carried through the heated catalyst converter for the purpose of the heating before the internal combustion engine is started in catalyst converter low temperature stages 6, 7, 16, 17 wherein the catalyst converter does not yet reach a desired operation temperature and is heated so as to especially improve purification action of the catalyst converter during the start of the internal combustion engine after a stop stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
