ROLLER FOR PRINTING MACHINE, PRINTING MACHINE HAVING THIS ROLLER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THIS ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller for a printing machine for further reducing weight more than a conventional plastic structure, and/or for improving a strength characteristic, and/or for flexibly and inexpensively realizing a manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: At least a part of wall parts (10, 100, 110 and 120) of this roller is composed of fiber reinforced plastic, and this plastic is reinforced by fiber arranged in at least one fiber net (14). For manufacturing the roller (1), a method is performed with the following method processes, that are, (a) a step of preparing knitting cores (16, 16', 16" and 16'''), (b) a step of knitting knitting yarns (142 and 146) and fixed yarn (144) of the fiber net (14) around the knitting cores (16, 16', 16" and 16''') and (c) a process of impregnating the plastic into the fiber net (14).
