PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer which can be manufactured inexpensively. SOLUTION: The retainer 13 used for a roller bearing has a plurality of pockets 16 for storing a needle roller 12 as a rolling body, and a plurality of pillars 14 positioned between the adjoining pockets 16 and extended in the axial direction. The retainer 13 is made of a resin. All the pillars 14 adjoining with each other across the pockets 16 include a separation portion separated from the adjoining pillars 14.
