A recording/reproducing device (1) is provided with an information readout unit (121) for reading out a first information (OS or application) recorded in an optical disk (10); an information storing/controlling unit (122) for storing the first information read out by the information readout unit (121) in a storing unit (15); and an enable/disable control unit (21) which enables one first information and disables the other first information among the first information stored in the storing unit (15) by the information storing/controlling unit (122) and the first information recorded in the optical disk (10). While sufficiently ensuring the safety of the first information recorded in the optical disk (10), the first information can be used in a plurality of recording/reproducing devices.
